Last November, JDC-ICCD was invited to present the findings of its 2024 edition of the European Jewish Leaders’ Survey at the annual assembly of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities (UCEI, Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche Italiane).

Delegates representing all Jewish communities across Italy delved into the specificities of the Italian respondents to the survey. Perceptions of antisemitism, the situation after October 7, and Israel were among the topics discussed during the session.

120 Jewish leaders participated in the last survey, marking the highest response rate for Italy since the survey started in 2008. This doubtless reflects the strong institutional support offered by UCEI, combined with the great professional support conducted by Fondazione CDEC.
