As a follow-up to, and extension of, the process begun in Oxford in November 2008, 15 participants from across Europe will be gathering in Brussels on 28 and 29 March to help shape the goals and timetable of the Young Leaders’ Initiative, and to think together about how the new challenges facing Europe and its Jewish communities impact future strategies and priorities. Their deliberations, and those emerging from other meetings currently being planned, will provide a template for coordinated activity and policy-making.

Programme sessions for the Brussels meeting will include a lecture on the nature and potential impact of the global economic crisis, discussions on the unique profile and vision of today’s young Jewish leaders and the drafting of a manifesto for the leadership network currently in development.
